Happiest News Ever!!
So this past week has been one of the greatest in my life. Last week I found out that my wife is pregnant with our first child. Both she and I are extremely excited and are truly blessed for this miracle that God has given us. According to the doctor, our brand new baby will arrive sometime in late September. It is our intention to not find out the sex of our baby before it is born. All we want is a healthy baby. I ask that you all pray for us and pray for my wife that everything goes well during her pregnancy and that we have a healthy baby come September. I'll keep you all posted throughout the preganancy.

Christmas 2009
Another Christmas come, another Christmas gone. As always, it seems that Christmas comes out of nowhere and by the time we know it, we're purchasing gifts for everyone again. This holiday season took on a little bit of a different tune for my wife and I. There was the thought that I would be getting my pay cut at work, so we braced for that by limiting our holiday gift buying. Luckily my wife is a very frugal person and an excellent bargain shopper so we were able to get the most out of our money. I believe everyone was happy with their gifts and we once again had a very good Christmas. As always, I am thankful for my family, my friends and all the blessings I have. I hope that 2010 is even better than this year.

Lakers are Champs!!!
Ok, I know it is about a week late, but better late than never. I am so happy for the 15th championship for the Lakers. My wife now has her husband back. It was so tense inside the house when they were playing. Congratulations to the Orlando Magic for a great run. I think they have a very bright future and we will be seeing them for many years. For those of you who may have missed it, check out the link below.

Memorial Day Weekend 2009
Memorial Day Weekend 2009!!! Great times as some of the Magos Family went to Shaver Lake for a weekend stay at a cabin. My wife and I went up on Friday evening after work and we stayed until Saturday evening. My family rented a boat for all of us to ride on the lake on Saturday. We took a couple of ice chests with us and some food. Lucky for us, the boat was equipped with a barbecue grill and we were able to grill up some burgers and hot dogs.
The weather was great; cool and not a cloud in the sky.
My first ever fish...not sure how I did it, but I'm glad I did. Total for the day: 4 fish. Apparently the tasted even better than they looked. I'll catch 'em, but won't even 'em.
In all, we had a great time and we really enjoyed ourselves. I plan on renting a jet ski next time we go up to the lake.Friday, May 22, 2009
Long Time, No Blog (Part II)
WOW!!! Has it been that long since my last post?!? Well, for those who may be following this blog (and I don't think there are many out there), I'm glad to be back and my summer resolution is to post more often.
So you may ask...what have I been doing with myself for the past few months? What...nobody really cares? Ok, I'm going to tell you anyways. I think I mentioned that I was enrolled in the MBA Program and Fresno State. All in all, I can say that it was very interesting and I'm excitied about the program. I can honestly say that I didn't do myself justice this past semester. I did not put in the effor that I normally have done in the past and it showed by me having to claw my way back up the grading ladder. Regardless, I thought I put in a nice effort and I hope to be rewarded with at least a "B" in each class. I am glad the summer is upon us so that I can start doing stuff around the house that need to get done.
I'm glad summer is here (although not officially) and I am excited to get the house in order. My dad and I installed sprinklers recently in my backyard and we are getting ready to lay down some sod pretty soon here. I hope to get some concrete work done and finish the rest of the backyard with some decorative pavers.
Well that's all for now, I'm glad to be back and I'll keep you posted as the summer progresses!
